Paul: There have been no changes at all to analogue or digital transmissions concerned with ITV.

BBC ONE now broadcasts on the old analogue BBC TWO frequency, and multiplex BBCA is now broadcasting on the old BBC ONE analogue frequency. C49 is no longer in use.

the post that mentions improvement of itv digital channels (ch.67 mux 2,D3+4) may be related to high pressure,as a foreign station knocked out viking fm 96.9 in scarborough yo12 5dl ealier.

Interesting - just wish we knew "exactly" what was going to happen yesterday and on the 17th. There is no doubt in our household that reception of ITV has improved - normally viewing was poor up to around 09.15am then deteriorated to hopeless, where it stayed the rest of the day. It's currently acceptable (08.30) and assuming it stays like it did yesterday then I would say it will deteriorate to poor. In other words a marginal improvement. I regret I cannot measure the signal strength. Anyhow thank you for the information - I will however be looking for a serious improvement come the 17th, after the second re-tune.

Paul: I think you will find that when signal increases from 100W to 2900W, which is 10dB your service on all multiplexes will be perfectly stable.
