Colchester

I live in Colchester using the Sudbury transmitter. We are in a slight geographic dip (Highwoods) and we have great problems with receiving the ITV-1 channel set . Although these are supposedly more powerful (5500 as opposed to 1100) than the ITV3 set, we get those ones much better!
All other channels are pretty good with BBC always fine. We have had a new aerial a couple of years back and have boosters in the attic.
One TV will not even scan in the ITV-1 set and it does not have the option to manually tune (Panasonic TH42PX60).
Will all this improve with the switchover in July?
What is occuring?

John: According to the Digital UK postcode checker Mux2 is shown as giving poor reception. The other muxes are shown as good reception (MuxD variable). After 20th July 2011 (switchover step2) MuxD3+4 should give you very good reception, note however that MuxC/ArqA and MuxD/ArqB will become 8k mode but continue on low power transmitters, resulting in a possible reduction in signal level. The COM muxes adopt high power working in 2012.
