I think the answer lies in a satellite transmitter, whether Sky or FreeSat. My Freeview is still hit and miss but mostly miss. I have 8 channels and only 6 of those are watchable most of the time.

I have recently retuned my kitchen tv downstairs and lost MULTIPLEX 2, itv, Channel 4 & CHANNEL 5 ETC.
I still get all them on my upstairs tv in the bedroom after retune. Both are Tevions with built in freeview.
Any suggestions?

Craig: Sutton Coldfield appears to be your main station as as such there is no external reason why this should have happened, I therefore suggest that you carry out a reset on your TV / box followed by another auto tune, if this still doesn't work then "if" at all possible I would try taking your kitchen TV upstairs and carrying out another auto tune with it connected into the upstairs aerial.

C46 Hannington.I receive all on this multiplex except Talking Pictures and Rewind TV.How does that happen whe I receive everything else available from Hannington? Also it's suggested my best reception should be from Rowridge, but with a hill topped with trees opposite that is not always so.

As you haven't given a full postcode, we can';t comment on your "best reception", but as you are aware very local conditions - in your case a hill topped with trees - can obviously make a difference. The predictions don't always take account of such VERY local issues.
Is LCN82 listed in your EPG and it's just vision/sound that's missing, or is LCN82 missing altogether?
If it's missing altogether have a look in LCNs800 on, sometimes after a retune channels can end up there for sometimes inexplicable reasons. Likewise for LCN95.
If they are both missing altogether, try a manual retune of C46. Hannington has been listed for Planned Engineering this week and this might have a bearing on the situation.
