You are predicted to get excellent reception from Sandy Heath, which is just 34 km away. There is no reported faults at that transmitter. So please check your aerial system, checking all the cables are undamaged and that all connections are in perfect order. Unplug all coaxial plugs/sockets and then refit. Then check the signal strength shown for all the multiplexes. You should ideally have between 60% and 85% for all channels. If it is stronger then you have too much signal and it shoyld be reduced with an attenuator. If it is too low then you need a stronger aerial, a wideband type or a log-periodic.

Has your reception returned? Is it just loss of programme or is it loss of signal as well? OK here, what transmitter are you receiving?

Hi there. Having constant signal problems with Dave - ch19. Postcode PH139AD. Aeriel signal coming from Angus transmitter NO394407 . On this channel signal strength [ according to my youview box] is approx 15% lower than other channels; signal quality ranges between 0% and 30% . As a comparison, ch29 signal quality is 100%. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Dave is carried on the ArqA/COM5 multiplex, so if this is a signal reception problem you should have the same problem with other channels on that multiplex eg. Really LCN 17, Sky Arts LCN 11 etc.
See Channel listings for Industry Professionals | Freeview for which channels are carried on which multiplex (note there's no Local mux at Angus).
The Angus transmitter isn't currently listed for Planned Engineering, nor can I find any current faults listed.
You should normally have near excellent reception from Angus.
As ArqA is on UHF C36 at Angus, you haven't got any old equipment with an RF modulator switched on per chance? Eg. an old games console , an old Skybox etc. A lot of them used C36 as the default channel for their analogue output.
Other than that, I would check that your aerial seems intact and pointing in the correct direction and that your downlead looks undamaged (especially if it is old) and is secure and not flapping in the wind.
Have you checked the connections behind your TV?
I'd check all your coax plugs, connections, flyleads etc, unplug connectors check for corrosion or other problems and reconnect them. Flyleads are a common problem, try swapping/changing them.
Problematic connections, water ingress, Aerial misalignment etc., can seem to affect reception of just an individual or several multiplexes.
What's the signal like on channels on the ArqB multiplex which is on UHF C48 - eg. EPG LCN 23 Dave ja vue, LCN 26 Yesterday, LCN 33 Great! Movies etc. ?

Watched Not Going Out on Dave last night and was so annoyed at all the adverts and programme promotions being displayed at very short intervals, it seemed that there were more adverts being shown than the actual programme!! I realise your revenue relies on adverts, but this was way over the top.

This is not the broadcaster's website so they won't see your post here. You need to contact UKTV (website link for Dave at the top of this page).
If you think they are breaking the rules with too many adverts maybe contact OFCOM.
