Forgot to add, the Local multiplex at Waltham is transmitted on UHF C41. If you live in a suitable area you could try a manual tune on C41 (auto-tune may miss it if the signal is weak but just receivable).

I'm afraid Arqiva never say how long the work will continue or provide details of the work, some of which may be weather dependent.

Michael :
Yes, sets in general have improved. However, how could an individual range of sets or makes of sets perform will vary. You are best going to a retailer that has sets operating on display and making a judgement based on what you see (and don't take too much flannel and BS from a salesman who may have his commission in mind!).

There was a fire at the Red Bee Media Playout Centre on Saturday evening. This has caused major disruption to a number of TV services. See Incident at playout centre knocks out TV services - Clean Feed and subsequent updates at PresWatch Archives - Clean Feed
I've been seeing some reports that some transmitters are still missing some services, Waltham being one of them.
