why no Virgin1 channel on my Freeview box ? 4.00pm 03-feb-2011 we get all other channels fine from The Wrekin transmitter hear in Wolverhampton.

I Live in Ecclshall and have no Film4 siganl. I point at teh Wrekin transmitter. Has anyone esle experienced any signla loss on this channel?

Thanks for the prompt reply Brian. I should perhaps clarify that it is not only Film 4 buy all the channels on the same band (Yesterday, music channels etc) MUX D I believe. My Reception was fine (although quite low) until a few days ago but now I get a fluctuating signal between 0-10 and a 100% bit rate error. I suppose my aerial may have moved during the last bad winds we had and I will check this next. I also have a booster which still seems to be working ok. I am getting signal strength of around 60% for the rest of the channels (BBC1, BBC2, and ITV etc). It is only the MUX D channels that have problems. If these channels are still working, is it still possible to lose only MUXD? I have not installed any new devices to cause the loss of signal.

Found it! The bad winds we had turned the aerial; I moved it around and now everything is fine. Thnaks for your support.
