I have no signal at 22.30 on 19th May. My Tv aerial has been recently checked by an Aerial engineer and is in good working order after a previous problem which was reported in the local paper as affecting the Budleigh Salterton/Exmouth area. I am in the ex5 area of east devon and use the Stockland Hill transmitter, and only have a Freeview aerial. Both TV's have been checked and show the same No Signal message. Thank you for your kind assistance.

G.Bradbury: Ask people close by if they are also having a problem, and check the transmitter info above. If they are OK, then its you. And something is duff somewhere - either a cable, a connection or possibly the electrics for any booster, etc.

Service has resumed within the last hour but the picture is still breaking up. I have now spoken to a local neighbour who is having the same problem . Devon County Show is on at Westpoint about 1 mile from here and therefore wonder whether their equipment is causing problems to reception?

G.Bradbury: the William Hepburn's tropospheric ducting forecast for this morning, 20th May 2016, showed predictions that suggested reception could possibly have been affected by out of area signals travelling further than normal over the SW region and West Wales. Conditions were expected to have returned to normal by mid afternoon.

Stockland Hill is not a full freeview Tx as described. Two examples are missing Talking Pictures and CBS Drama. As far as I can find, it is because 2 of the missing channels are Talking Pictures & CBS Drama. As far as I can see this is because it does not transmit neither com 7 nor com 8. Can you please when this discrepancy will be corrected.

john coombes: It would appear that no info has been published as yet with regards the multiplex transmitter channel number EPG87 will be carried on, however, if its on either COM 4/ 5 /6 it will be viewable in your area, but not if on COM7, as Stockland Hill is not one of the stations fitted with additional COM7 & COM8 HD multiplexes.

This info will be updated as necessary.

john coombes: Re; query on Keep it Country music channel (EPG87), according to information just seen, this programme is to be broadcast on the COM7 HD multiplex, unfortunately Stockland Hill not being one of the stations fitted with additional COM7/COM8 HD multiplexes.

This meaning that the programme can only be received by viewers within the coverage area of a station operating with a COM7 HD transmitter and who have a TV or box capable of HD reception, i.e: fitted with DVB-T2 tuners, HD ready types not being.

How do the recent changes for the Olympics alter the future channels, if at all? Will we retain BBC 4 HD on channel 106 when the Olympics is over?

6:40 PM

David Carter: As far as I can gather, although the EPG number will remain the same, the programme is being moved from its temporary slot on PSB3 and transferred over to COM8, which of course unfortunately means that viewers who receive their signal via Stockland Hill will be unable to receive BBC4 HD, as this station is not one offering extended COM7 / COM8 HD services.
