Keith Vivian: BBC Reception [bbc.co.uk/reception] reports that the Pwll Glas transmitter is "Off the air due to essential engineering" From 1:01pm on 18th Nov 2024.

SP Energy Networks reports a planned outage at the transmitter's postcode, LL15 2PH (which is shown near the top of this page):

At the time of writing, SP Energy Networks says that the estimated restore time is to be confirmed.

Update - apart from the transmitter being on the Planned Engineering list this week where -
"Screen may go black on some or all channels" -
the BBC update now states From 1:01pm to 3:21pm on 18th Nov 2024 Off the air due to essential engineering, so you should have you signal back.

I hope you did not try to retune when you had No signal, you cannot tune to signals that aren't there. The usual effect is to clear your correct tuning and you have to try again when signals are normal.

Please post a question, answer or commentIf you have Freeview reception problems before posting a question your must first do this Freeview reset procedure then see: Freeview reception has changed, Single frequency interference, and Freeview intermittent interference.

If you have no satellite signal, see Sky Digibox says 'No Signal' or 'Technical fault'

If you have other problems, please provide a full (not partial) postcode (or preferably enter it in box at the top right) and indicate where if aerial is on the roof, in the loft or elsewhere.
