Droitwich WR9 8AH Bromsgrove transmitter.
Have retuned several times both as first time setup and replace all channels.
After retuning BBC1,2 etc are correctly received as programmes 1,2 etc on Ch26. After about 30 secs the receiver changes by itself to Ch41 so that programmes 1,2 etc no longer get a signal. BBC1 is on 820 and BBC2 on 815 where Ch 26 is still to be found.
It is a Labgear FV300 set top box.

Thank you Brian. Well I had tried that but have done it once more, and to be quite sure I disconnected an turned off the VCR. It is just the same: ie after a scan with a clean settop box it correctly assigns BBC1,2 etc to programmes 1,2 on Ch26. After about 30 sec this jumps to Ch41 with no signal. BBC2 is there OK on 815 but I have to do a manual scan to get BBC1 which then is added as 820, both on CH26. BBC301 is added at the same time. Is this likely to be corrected on 20 April or is it a problem with the settop box?
It is no great difficulty for 2 weeks now I know how to work around it, but clearly something is wrong!

I have a smilar problem that I get a signal from Bromsgrove and weaker one from Sutton Coldfield. If I auto tune I have to stop it half way through tuning so that it does not replace the channels from Bromgrove with the ones from Sutton. You could try manually tuning just the channels from Bromsgrove.

Thank you Mike Fisher for the suggestion.
Regrettably, I tried cleaning it out (scanning with the aerial disconnected) and then manually scanned Chs 26,23 etc. The behaviour was the same; ie it started with the correct assignments for BBC1,2 etc on Ch26 and after about 30 sec reassigned them to Ch41 with no signals. It is clearly getting some assigment instructions from Sutton Coldfield, perhaps relayed by Bromsgrove, as the Channels shown are those from Sutton. How can this be stopped? Is there in fact a hidden command channel relayed from Bromsgrove?

P J Bulman: It is most likely a fault with the set-top box.

Jim Hall: BBC TWO analogue has gone, that is the first part of switchover.

If this is a Humax PVR then it is a known problem. I have had the problem since moving to Bromsgrove. It is well documented on the web and you have to follow these instructions. Go into Favourites and select all channels tv. Delete them. Select all radio stations and delete them. Do a manual tune and only download the channels ie 23 which give a 100* signal quality. Save them and the problem is solved.

Hi Mr MJT

You are correct the problem I suggesting the cure. Came about from my problems with a Humax TV. I had to do a complete default factory reset and tune in the individual channels.
