Since the retune in January on the Dover Hougham transmitter I can't receive Five USA, Fiver and Quest, all these channels appear to now be on channel 60uhf. My postcode is CT16.
Any idea when I will be get those stations again and please don't say I will have to wait till 2012

After checking on your multiplex page it seems I have lost Mux A because I checked all the stations on that mux and I can't get any of them. I have retuned so many time since Jan that I can do it in my sleep but I still cant get them back.

Trevor Smith: A rooftop aerial will provide all Freeview services right now and for the future. Did you try My Freeview box has no EPG, is blank on FIVE, ITV3, ITV4, ITV2+1, has no sound or the channel line up is wrong | ukfree.tv - independent free digital TV advice ?

Michael mc ananet: You are not predicted to get Freeview from the transmitter, at least until 2012 and not all services even then.
I would suggest you go for Freesat, see Compare Freeview and Freesat TV | ukfree.tv - independent free digital TV advice .

Could someone help! We live in Reigate, Surrey. Though BBC South regional TV editors refuse to acknowledge the fact, a large number of people in this area receive their transmissions from Midhurst because local topography (the Greensand Ridge) completely blocks the line of sight to the Reigate relay. Until switchover all was fine. We received all digital channels loud and clear from Midhurst - BBC South, Meridian etc. After switchover, nothing. Have done several factory re-sets and re-tunes and can only pick up a handful of minority channels (we get Play, something called Gay Rabbit, Film 4 and a couple of shopping channels). We've swung the aerial round to the north to see if an increased power from Reigate will help it bend round hills, but nothing from there either. So now we have no TV where previously we had loads. We can only watch TV through Sky satellite, meaning just one TV in the home. Could someone explain what on earth they have done to mess things up so spectacularly, and is there anything we can do to fix it?
Thanks.

AJ: Can you be more specific as to your location, preferably in the form of post code so as reception possibilities may be checked upon?
For Reigate your aerial will need changing to vertical. If your aerial on Midhurst is Group C/D then that may well not pick up some of Reigate's channels, even if they are available at your location. Until 18th April, analogue is available from Reigate and may be a better test to see if you can receive from that station. The remaining analogue channels (except Channel 5) are in Group C/D.
Reigate completed its first stage of switchover on 4th April and completes on 18th April. Thus its full power post switchover BBC multiplex is now on the air on C60. This is within Group if your aerial is a C/D one. So if you can pick this up, then this might bode well come 18th April.
