I have no channels at all. Last week the
pictures were not good, and then on Sunday18th August they disappeared altogether. Aerial is on the roof and is set to pick up Sandy Heath transmission. It has not moved. I tried all the normal things resetting, channel search etc., but to no avail.

We have lost signal quality on Dave, Pick TV, Dave Ja Vu, and some other channels in these groups since mid August - the signal is so poor that at best we get very broken up block picture segments and short sound bursts. What has changed the transmission on these?
Aerial is fine, cables OK, amplifier working OK, retuning doesn't change any of these and all other freeview groups still received fine!

J Skelton: Your problem could be related to the fact that engineering works have been taking place at the Sandy transmitter and indeed will also be doing so next week, this resulting in the service being liable to interruption such as short breaks in transmission or other issues that can affect reception.
Unfortunately nothing has been posted on the engineering board as far as an estimated date for the completion of the work is concerned, it would though be prudent to check with a neighbour or some other person nearby purely for the purpose of verifying that the problem is "not" just confined to your installation, albeit its unlikely that it would be!

Hi
Thanks, I think you're probably right. All the other channels are perfect but every BBC channels suddenly went dead. It must be the BBC transmitter but I am just hoping it's temporary.

My Grandparents in Stony Stratford/Milton Keynes (Not sure on Post Code, sorry!) also report loss of main channels, such as BBC series channels. Haven't been over to check for potential "user error", but apparently zero signal outta nowhere.

Lost service for 5+ hours yesterday afternoon/evening on BBC1,2,3,4, ITV1,2 Channel4, 4+1 and Channel5 channels. Gradually came back after retuning box several times. This morning (and still continuing) am losing BBC1. I'm tuned into Sandy Heath transmitter which reports no issues! How come??
