You live around 50 yards from me - carry on to the bottom of your road, nip over the fence and you're in my road lol. We've had reduced signal strength and power on Multiplex B but can just about scrape a signal with our loft aerial. All other multiplexes seem to be behaving themselves and with you being so close I doubt its an external issue affecting your reception.

wayne: I don't think you say whether or not you have a loft aerial, but if you do, that certainly won't help!

Nothing close that could cause interference. I have a surge protector (Monster Power) which handles all of the socket and has a pass through for the aerial. Tried it without that in place but no difference. First channel I can view tonight is Channel 18.

I had a similar problem and it turned out to be a PC without its covers on generating interference at exactly the right frequencies to really mess up my Freeview reception. It took me a few days to work out what it was.

Dom,thanks for the comment. PC is upstairs and wasn't switched on at the time.
Brian, I haven't retuned for a while but having made note of the channels that are showing as "not tuned" I see they are all on MUX 1 & A. These show as having a rating of Low. What does that actually mean please? Do I need to get somebody in to check anything?

Nigel: Multiplex 1 is not "Low" it is "Maximum".
If you are still having problems and My Freeview box has no EPG, is blank on FIVE, ITV3, ITV4, ITV2+1, has no sound or the channel line up is wrong | ukfree.tv - independent free digital TV advice didn't fix them, you might need someone to find the source of the problem.
You are predicted to receive all the services perfectly with a rooftop aerial.

If you want to borrow a high gain wideband aerial try in your loft (mine just about works up there !) then give me a yell - I've got a spare one knocking around.

My apologies, MUX 1 should have read MUX 2. What does the rating of Low actually mean?
