barrie wreford: Can you not use the Risca relay, or even Wenvoe which would probably give you the full service?

Usually excellent freeview signal from set top aerial but nothing this morning even after resetting box. Tried re-installation and it only picked up 9 channels, (no BBC channels at all), presumably from a different transmitter as the signal is very poor.

Is there a fault with this transmitter today please?

K Wright: The posting above says that Mynydd Machen was off air yesterday for a couple of hours.

BBC services should be tuned to UHF channel 23, this information is usually given on the signal strength screen.

C49 is Mynydd Bach, C60 is Abertridwr and C41 is Wenvoe.

Have been getting very intermittent sound dropouts only lasting for a fraction of a second on BBC Wales hd only, has anybody else noticed this problem on Mynydd Machen transmitter or any of its relays.regards Barrie from Risca.
