We're having serious problems at the moment, as of approx 15:00 on 17/02/11. I know it's not the the aerial or any connections betwixt AE and TV. WTF?

When will we receive Sky sports 1 & 2 reception through freeview in the Dumfries South area ? Can't move to BT Vision cause no reception via freeview, can't move to Virgin as no cables in the area. Being held hostage by Sky in this area and their service is becoming unafordable.

I believe that the reason we get so few freeview channels is because the transmitter is a relay. Are there any plans to improve the service so that we can receive all the freeview channels broadcast?

Anne: Unfortunately not. This is because the operatores of the Commercial networks (those that don't broadcast from Dumfries South) don't wish to spend the money because they don't consider it worth their while. See here:

Londonderry (Northern Ireland) digital TV transmitter | ukfree.tv - 10 years of independent, free digital TV advice

Unless you can receive the full service from Caldbeck, then you won't ever get it.

I had been receiving all my channels for my area this morning and then this afternoon the channels dropped from 125 channels slowing getting interference on all ITV channels to 25 and then when I tried to retune them all back in it came up on my tv no signal. I have checked all my connections and cabling and nothing has changed, are there are any problems which are affecting the area where I cannot get any Freeview channels at all. I had a message from my mobile provider that my signal may be affecting as works were being done and this may be affected. Can you please confirm : my postcode DG1 2HL
