mrdtv: Depends who you believe. Considering I was getting the same readings percentage-wise on the digital tests as for analogue signals, I'd say it was full power, though of course the digital box isn't designed to measure an analogue signal.
If I'm right about the calibration of my box's strength meter, my usual level for low-power digital at 35% translates to 56 dBuV, while the high-power test at 60% translates to 71 dBuV, or 15 dB higher than current values. The increase at DSO is only supposed to be 10 dB. 15 dB would be near 600 kW.
BBC Two analogue was on noticeably lower power (showing only 40% on C33 on my PVR, though again measured as if it were a digital signal), which was attributed to it running from the back-up transmitter at Croydon.

Mike:
I think we will see a full six mux high power test tonight. It also appears some of the relays were radiating on post DSO frequencies.

Hi
I'm in Watford and get good Freeview reception but the HD signal is not strong enough. I have had a look at the table above which says when the power of the signals will be increased but there is no mention of C31 which is where the FreeviewHD channels are held. Will they also be boosted next April?
Thanks, Paul

I live in West Norwood in London within a mile of Crystal Palace. I recieve Freeview HD on a Digitalstream HD recorder. All has been fine since I bought it at the beginning of the year. Since Sunday 6th Nov all the HD channels have lost quality i.e. signal ok but no quality and I get the message no signal on the video. I tried a factory reset and now my box has no HD services listed. I have tried a manual scan on UHF31 554Mhz and my box shows nothing. All the SD channels are fine but no HD!! Is there a problem at CP? I know they did planned work the previosu Friday but I gots signal after that ok only since Sunday (in the middle of Downton Abbey) has it gone
