I'm not receiving the Com7 multiplex on my new Panasonic TV :( I've tried both auto tune and manually but nothing will appear when I try toscan channel 33.

Ryan: COM7 is on lower power than the rest.
Also, if you're using a communal (shared) aerial system then it might require adjustment to allow through the new channel. Communal systems are often filtered so as to allow through only frequencies used by the designated transmitter, which is why when a new one comes on air it isn't available until the adjustment is made.

I have had problems all over he Christmas and new year period with COm5 channels. BBC on PSB1 apears to be unaffected. The Power is 90-100% but the quality varies from 90 down to 5% as I watch it on the setup program. This makes Dave, Pick etc unwatchable.

Have anyone noticed after retuning tv or box theres a extra function for area " london" or "greater London" whats the purpose for this?
never seen this before. This is under "regions"

Rob: It's used for getting the correct channels on 1, 2, 3, 4, 5,8 and 34.
If you live somewhere you can get different versions of BBC One, BBC Two, ITV/STV/UTV, Channel 4, Channel 5 and local TV stations, your box will ask you which you want to prioritize.
The channels you want go on the numbers listed, the other versions go on the 800-899 channel range.

Dear Sir/Madam, Suddenly I cannot receive any TV channels - it's like the aerial has been switched off. My post code is SE23 3UX.
Are there problems with the Crystal Palace transmitter?
Our aerial is on top of the roof.
Many thanks for your help and advice.

Michael Frost: If you click on the link called 'R + T Investigations' next to your question, you'll see that Crystal Palace seems to be fine. In fact, at just 2km away from the transmitter, I suspect a bit of wet string would give a decent signal, so I'm afraid its almost certainly your aerial, or the cable leading from it, which is at fault.
Check the usual things - is the cable actually attached to the TV, are there any breaks you can see on the roof, etc.

For months and months we have had to completely retune the TV (Panasonic) virtually every day. Even the recorder also a Panasonic sometimes needs retuning too. It is worse at present. This is beginning to get extremely annoying. If we ignore the retune notice we then find that a programme which we have tried to record won't record as it is obviously not on the correct channel.
Surely everyone else cannot be experiencing the same problem as there would be a great hue and cry if they were so why is it happening to us and when will it end?!

We currently get Crystal Palace + Anglia + Meridean

C and H White: Your best bet for the TV is to go to menu > setup > tuning menu and then auto setup. If that doesn't work try menu > setup and then try to find "shipping conditions" or factory settings.
