My postcode is ST13 7HU and recieve signal from Winter Hill.
Panasonic TV all channels recieved on 59 are blocky on vision and corrupt sound. However all channels recieved on the BT Vision box are ok, have tried direct aerial feed to both and the Vision box is ok

mike: I would start by replacing the aerial "fly leads" you use to connect to the TV set. Otherwise the TV could have a fault.

This morning, my samsung LE37R8 was receiving TV just fine in postcode NE6, but this evening, I get 'No signal'. No channels, nothing when I try to search again and auto-store etc, zilch; TV just says 'check aerial'. As far as I could see, the aerial is still okay, and there's a poor but definite analogue signal still coming through from it- just nothing digital. Unfortunately I've not got any other TVs or STBs to experiment with.
Any suggestions?

Since the Oxford transmitter upgrade on the 28th Sept 11 I've lost all the channels that have been moved on to C59 (Dave, E4+1, sky news etc). My box is showing no signal on that channel.
Is this going to be rectified, can I get my channels back another way?

Simon: See Single Frequency Interference - it could be that there is some other device blocking that channel.
This is also the only channel adjacent to another channel, and is the weaker of the pair. It could be a problem of too much signal. See Freeview signals: too much of a good thing is bad for you | ukfree.tv - independent free digital TV advice .

signal is affected on C59 channels (5 is worst) in PR3 area. Menu says signal strength and quality is fine, integreated freeview in Panasonic TV, no problem til last few days and no high winds or weather to disturb perfectly functioning aerial. All other channels unaffected. Any ideas as to why?

Postcode RG14 6RJ - Hannington transmitter. Analog BBC switched off earlier this month. All Digital TVs OK, none of our Set top boxes worked fully (Humax F2-FoxT and Pace DTVA). Now all analog switched off, All digital TVs OK, set top boxes have failed completely. No SW update for either box. Are these now scrap? All worked fine before switchover.

Nick Smith: They could be scrap if they are on the TVs and boxes that do not support the 8k-mode | ukfree.tv - independent free digital TV advice list.
