If I've got poor or no ITV and 4/5 does it mean I've tuned into the wrong MUX number? I'm at SN4 7ES trying to tune to . BBC 1,2 SKY News all fine. Is there another MUX number to try? I think I started with 53?

Martin: There are betweeen six and twelve per depending on the , compression and time-sharing. The BBC SD channels are now all on the new multiplex on . The channels you mention are still in their previous location, Multiplex 2 on .

Some equipment has trouble with a mix of 2K and 8K modes. Other equipment cannot handle the larger Information Table - this problem usually isn't revealed until you rescan for channels. Still other equipment has trouble with very different levels across the multiplexes.

kevin bolton: I would see Freeview signals: too much of a good thing is bad for you | ukfree.tv - independent free digital TV advice but if you can now get the BBC OK, the rest will be OK in two weeks time.
