Stuart: What you mention is strongly suggestive of either the method used to couple up the PVR, or that your signal is below a level that they can resolve a picture, although this unlikely if experienced on more than one device.
What method are you using to feed the aerial into your PVR's aerial socket?

Julia: Guess you've retuned for Sutton Coldfield's DSO1, but the HD signals haven't changed yet (still using UHF channel 34).
It will change to UHF channel 40 on the 21st September (DSO2).

Hi, I rescanned my box recently as I was missing a channel that had recently been added to Freeview. I can receive channels via the Mendip (West) or the Wenvoe (Wales).
I live in the Bristol area so want to use the Mendip transmitter, however my box picked up all the welsh channels including S4C and ITV Wales and Channel 4 has changed from number 4 to channel 805 for some reason! I followed information from the tvretune website and put in the channel frequencies it suggested to get it back to West tv but this only changed the BBC channels and not the ITV or Channel 4 settings. Anyone know the manual retune frequency to get it back to normal? Thanks :)

I have just moved house to Newcastle. When retuning my freeview HD box I no longer get any HD channels. Other than doing an automatic search I'm not sure what I can do to get them back. What can I do? (54.9846,-1.6096)
