Are there any planned engineering works or unexpected transmitter faults on the High Hunsley (East Riding of Yorkshire, England) mast?

No problems on any service. BBC

UK Free TV shows the coverage area for a radio transmitter as a coloured overlay (orange for FM, other colours for DAB) on the grey map. We have computed the coverage by combining the terrain with the official radiation pattern. A single click will select the transmitter to view the coverage for a single site, and a double click goes to a page showing full details. Click on the buttons in the right-hand corner of the map to choose from different frequencies (or multiplexes for DAB).

Since this morning 04/09/14 I have been having reception problems on BBC National DAB (12B) from High Hunsley (East Riding of Yorkshire, England) mast.

The problems seem to have started soon after the DVB-T Freeview changes yesterday.

Its a pain, but there's a way to get them back. Go to channel list and delete all the old HD channels, thats 101, 102 ect. Then manually tune them by going to the set up menu, then manual tune...you have to put number 54 in the channel search, I think this is the multiplex number. Then it should find them all again.

In Bridlington I receive excellent reception of stations broadcasting from the new D2 multiplex both on the JVC car radio and our Pure Evoke Flow and our Roberts Play radios at home. The Evoke Flow shows 75-90% signal strength for D2 as compared to 100% for the BBC, D1 and Humberside multiplexes. Our nearest D2 transmitter is at High Hunsley while the other three multiplexes have a transmitter at Buckton Barn which is just north of Bridlington.

Unfortunately the postcode checker at www.getdigitalradio.com for YO15/YO16 shows no reception of the D2 multiplex which is clearly not true.

Please can you add the SDL National/D2 multiplex to your DAB listing and remove the Yorkshire multiplex which no longer exists.

Brian: Please note that High Hunsley now broadcasts - Humberside DAB 10D at 5 kW, Lincolnshire DAB 12A at 5 kW and Digital 1 DAB 11D at 2 kW in addition to BBC National 12B at 2 kW and SDL National 11A at 3.8 kW. Some Cave Wold broadcasts have been transfered to High Hunsley.

Brian: Is there a problem with your digital radio maps. All maps point to a place off the coast of Africa between Gabon and Ghana.

Betamax_man: I've noticed the same over the last few days, all of the coverage maps seem to be broken. Hopefully Briantist can find the cause and get them working again.
