Planet Rock
Planet Rock is a public digital radio station radio. UK Free TV shows the coverage area for a radio transmitter as a coloured overlay (orange for FM, other colours for DAB) on the grey map. We have computed the coverage by combining the terrain with the official radiation pattern. A single click will select the transmitter to view the coverage for a single site, and a double click goes to a page showing full details. Click on the buttons in the right-hand corner of the map to choose from different frequencies (or multiplexes for DAB).Planet Rock multiplexes

Wheres Planet Rock Gone?
Been away for 4 months and switched on to zero!
Its the only radio programme worth listening to in my view.
Any advice
Andrew

Andrew Webster: hi Andrew, it doesn't look like the areas that have lost it will be getting it back anytime soon:-( I created a petition at https://www.change.org/p/…link which has more than 3000 signatures and have had many discussions with the top bods at Bauer but they could give me no positive news whatsoever. I'm waiting now for the August RAJAR figures then I'll get on at them again. It's hugely disappointing that they knowingly lost the station so many listeners and many have just given up on it, because listening online is flaky and cumbersome.

Had been an avid planet rock listener and bought a dab radio for the car, since the big retune I have been unable to pickup squat, the signal in south wales is non existent. Doubtful if I will go back to listening to the station again, feelin very let down as it was a station that I enjoyed when on long journeys and in the house

I live near Porthmadog in N W Wales. Planet Rock was my key to health and fitness. 1st thing every morning- dance exercise to Planet Rock around my kitchen. No other station has the right music. Now I am getting flabby and unfit. PLEASE can we have back the best rock station ever!

Jasmin Sudworth: Why don't you stream the station online? There is virtually zero chance of Planet Rock's DAB coverage expanding any time soon.

Jasmin Sudworth: I agree Jasmin. Using my PC to stream is impractical and only in one room, so I barely listen nowadays, and obviously not at all in the car. I miss it a lot:-(

We listened to Planet Rock for years before they changed transmitters. Two DAB clock radios, two Marshall DAB radios that have Planet Rock as a preset channel and one car radio none of which can receive Planet Rock in Devon or Cornwall, not good enough Bauer Media! D2 transmitter required for the South West Please.
