Also the Reigate relay uses C31 up until April, which could cause a problem with CP HD to the south until then. (+51.14,-000.04)

Is retuning necessary for just an offset change, or only for a channel number change?

Why is Reigate in the list above, although not in blue and underlined? And will it be fully switched by 6am on 18 April?

The terrain plots are fine for the transmitters listed at location 'Site settings'. But can a terrain plot be obtained somehow for other nearby transmitters not listed, which are also receivable? (+51.14,-000.04)

Thanks for the "advanced mode" for the terrain plots. It's very useful to be able to check for possible alternative transmitters. I can receive Crystal Palace very well at my location even though it's allegedly blocked.
(And my aerial is actually LESS than 10m high.)

Full technical details of Freeview

Most Freeview receiver devices (TVs, Freeview boxes, Recorders, etc.) can display signal strength and quality. Signal strength is obvious, but what contributes to the quality level? Depending on the equipment being used the quality level displayed can vary widely between receiving devices despite them deriving their signal from the SAME aerial.

Thanks very much Mike. That does shed some light on it. I had been puzzling over the quality level issue for a while.

Has anyone any idea of how the Freeview muxes line-up at Reigate will end up in 2019 if 700MHz band 4G goes ahead? All the main programme channels are currently in it.

Thanks, Dave. It's just that Crystal Palace is also strong in the area, using Band A as well, so it's going to be very crammed in the old Band A if all the muxes were kept separate. I wondered if it would be made an SFN with Crystal Palace using the same muxes frequencies. This was done with Heathfield/Tunbridge Wells.
