Joe: BBC Local Radio is carried on the local commercial multiplex. Usually this is from a different transmitter from the national services.

Barry T: You will need to point your aerial at the Sandy Heath transmitter to get all the services, and only on 21st September 2011 will they all be broadcast at full power.

You will also need a wideband aerial for that transmitter.

David: The BBC, ITV1 and Channel 4 HD services do not yet have their regional services/adverts, so the HD services do not displace the SD service.

smeghead: There are no "test transmissions" of any service ahead of switchover, mainly because they will use the current analogue transmission frequencies.

Look above and the BBCB (Freeview HD) multiplex is set to broadcast on the current BBC One analogue frequency.
