The TV news announced that BBC2 analogue was to be switched off AND the power level was to be increased on 7th September. The channel switch around did improve the coverage in the ST17 area but do I understand correctly that the power increase only comes about on the 21st?

With the Channel 5 additions to FreeSat due later this year, what chance is there of the likes of DAVE and GOLD. I use FreeSat as at SY209EX the FreeView is the crippled FreeView light and not worth watching.

Is there a PVR that has SD output rather than HD. My tv is SD only. I have Virginmedia cable at the moment but would like to save the cost of the TV package. I have all the mutiplexes from Sutton Coldfield on freeview from an aerial or could set up a dish (I have an old one) for freesat. Thanks

What sort of programming is going to be on New8 after switch over. I have a group B aerial at the moment and forego channel 55 multiplex rather than change to group E. I could get a wideband but they generally seem to not be thought of too well. Unless there is going to be something worth watching on New* I'll stick with my group B. Alternatively I could couple in an existing group A from some previous experimentation.
