My post code is SA40 9RE, Llanybydder, Carmarthenshire, the house being about 800 ft above sea level. Reception for some channels, ITV 1,2,3,4, and freeview 19, 20,37 is poor or interrupted (loss of sound, breaking up picture, message saying no signal) IN WINDY WEATHER ONLY. BBC channels on the other hand seem unaffected. Could this be down to the my aerial (indoor, on window sill), or the presence of the BT telephone cable (extending from this side of the house to the telegraph pole to the west)which swings in heavy winds. Or is it because these channels come from different transmitters? Would getting an outdoor aerial fitted to house wall in a much higher position than the indoor aerial downstairs? I don't have an HD TV. I would be grateful for some suggestions to help remedy this problem which seems to be due to weather conditions. With thanks, DS.
