I think you may be getting your Freeview from the Newry South transmitter (https://ukfree.tv/txdetail.php?a=IJ093255) or Newry North transmitter (https://ukfree.tv/txdetail.php?a=IJ090284). Both of these transmitters are Freeview Light transmitters which means that they don't carry commercial stations. Both masts are public service broadcasting (PSB) transmitters and does not provide these commercial (COM) channels: 4Music, 4seven, 5 Later, 5*, 5USA, Al Jazeera English, Al Jazeera HD, Challenge, Channel 5 +1, CITV, Community Channel, Dave, Dave ja vu, Drama, E4+1, Film 4 +1, Food Network, ITV 2 +1, ITV 3, ITV 3 +1, ITV 4, Movie Mix, pick, Quest, Really, RT English , Sky News, The Zone, Travel Channel, True Entertainment, VIVA, Yesterday.
If by any chance you can receive your Freeview signals from Divis do you get anything on UHF Channels 23 or 29? If you do - it is surprising that you are not receiving anything on UHF Channel 26 as they all broadcast on the same power output (50,000W).
Let me know which Freeview transmitter are you receiving your Freeview from!

Hi PJH!
Possibly it could be Kilkeel but if by chance Anto is using only one aerial and if it is pointing towards Saorview's Clermont Carn transmitter I would believe that the Newry transmitters would be more in line. Of course until Anto gets back to this forum we can only speculate!
If he gets back in touch we all may be able to advise him.

Hi PaulIN!
Have you found that the stations on UHF Channel mixed up with a number of placeholders with no stations detailed only ether SD or HD? Power level from both UHF Channels 52 and 56 are about equal.
I live in North Belfast and when NIMM became available last October the power level for the mux wasn't great (as we are on the Divis side of the mountain range) but was easily tuned. As present I find the power on UHF Channel 39 not as good as before.

Hi Pauric!
You have indicated that you have lost both Channel 23 and Channel26 a few weeks ago. Have you manually rescanned both these channels? I know that was recent work being undertaken at the Divis Transmitter but no major changes have taken place at that time. The stations that you are looking for in a rescan are as follows:
COM4/SDN on Channel 23
10 ITV 3,
20 Drama,
25 Dave ja vu,
27 ITV 2 +1,
30 5*,
31 5USA,
38 Quest,
39 The Zone,
44 Channel 5 +1,
55 5 Later,
61 True Entertainment,
63 ITV 3 +1,
72 CITV,
16 QVC,
23 Bid,
49 The Jewellery Channel.
There is also a number of Adult, Digital Radio and Text channels transmitted on this UHF channel.
COM5/ArqA on Channel 26
11 pick,
12 Dave,
17 Really,
29 E4+1,
32 Movie Mix,
41 Food Network,
42 Travel Channel,
46 Challenge,
82 Sky News,
87 Community Channel,
36 Create and Craft,
37 Price Drop TV,
43 Gems TV 1.
There is also a number of Adult, Digital Radio and Text channels transmitted on this UHF channel.
I hope you get your missing stations back with rescanning the two channels.

Hi PJH!
Re: Samantha's problem - I would be very careful regarding recommending any specific business on this forum. While you were maybe happy with the service you may have received from the company, any outcome for someone else may not meet their expectations and might have an effect on the credibility of this site.

Michael,
You were thinking that Samantha's problems might be because of interference from the Saorview's Mt Leinster transmitter - www.ukfree.tv link icon C23 (490.0MHz). Do you realise that this transmitter is over 200miles away from Garrickfergus?

Hi Samantha!
Have you tried resetting your receiver to 'Factory Reset' and then rescanning all the local UHF channels?

Brian: There are lots of viewers that don't as yet have receivers that have a DVB-T2 tuner so if my understanding is correct, these stations were only to be available in HD, their receivers can't decode the signal.

Hi all!
I see that I am receiving Test Transmissions from Claremont Carn multiplex SV2 on UHF 56. Does anyone have any information regarding broadcasters and when full service will commence?
