My wife listens to LBC 97.3 most of the day and night.
The lady is disabled and enjoys LBC.
Our reception is poor at times .
Could you recommend a bedside radio that would give us better reception.

SYD KEEBLE: LBC broadcasts on 97.3MHz FM from Croydon.
The high ground at and around Warley may be the reason why reception is variable, you residing at the bottom of a steep drop.
This plot shows the transmitter on the right and your location on the left:

Whilst FM radio signals don't rely as much on line-of-sight as TV, you are clearly not in the best spot.
The thing to do is consider whether the radio can be resited so as to have a clearer view in a south-easterly direction.

LBC is now not available in my area. Is it possible to wirelessly transmit LBC from my SKY box(channel 0112) in the living room, to some kind of receiver/speaker which can be carried like a radio around the house? I seem to remember that SKY had something which looked like a speaker. Any advice would be appreciated.

Since LBC went national earlier in February, I can no longer tune in ('not available') on my DAB radios. I live in the Guildford area. Any ideas? I have tried to retune.

Margaret: With DAB, a single signal (known as a multiplex) carries multiple radio stations. See if you have Classic FM and that you can listen to it, as if you do then you are receiving the national multiplex which it is carried on and therefore the radio is in a position where you can pick up LBC.
You will need to do a retune for LBC because the old "LBC" on your radio will be that which was carried on one of the regional London multiplexes.
A manual tune to channel 11D might help, this being the national commercial multiplex which LBC is now on.
