Nick: If you cannot get Pick TV (11) either then you haven't received ArqA/Com5 as these three programmes are all on that transmitter, Yesterday not!
I would blank the channels already stored out by carrying out a re-scan without the aerial being connected, then once complete reconnect the aerial and carry out another auto-tune and checking the results.
Its always best carrying out a factory reset (or default setting) rather than the aerial out procedure, so if you do not have success on the second rescan then try the factory reset.

geoff: As Waltham is the station indicated as serving your area then Dave (LCN 12) is on mux Ch56 (ArqA).
If you still cannot find it then delete everything stored in the tuners memory by selecting "auto tune" and pressing search, "but" as soon as it starts cancel it before anything is picked because as soon as you pressed search all channels will have been deleted.
Follow this by selecting "manual tune" and entering Ch56 then press search, once all programme channels on Ch56 are stored then you can enter the remaining muxes one at a time using the same procedure.
These being Ch61 (BBC) - 54 (ITV1) - Ch58 (HD service) - Ch29 (ITV3 etc) - Ch57 (Film 4 etc)

Since the recent channel changes and retuning I can no longer get Dave or Pick; there is a picture there but it keeps breaking up. Have retuned several times. We are on the Pendle Hill transmitter in BB10.

Re the above post I should have added that I can't get any of the COM5 Arq A channels; just broken up pictures and jumping sound. The aerial is tuned to Pendle Forest. At least two of these channels were perfect until just 2 or 3 weeks ago at the last channel change. I've wiped the memory and retuned and have also tried a manual tune for Dave (C21) which is now on channel 12 instead of the previous channel 19. It tunes manually to 474 Mgh rather than 474.2. I have a HD ready TV rather than a set top box. Please help- I'm getting withdrawal symptoms from no QI!

Neil: You will be unlikely to receive anything more than the Public Service channels. This is because your local transmitter is Cornholme which does not broadcast the Commercial (COM) channels, which carry Dave among others.
This isn't likely to change as the Commercial broadcasters don't wish to pay to transmit from the small sites. See here for an explanation:

Unless you can receive all services from a main station such as Emley Moor, then you won't ever receive them on Freeview.

Chris: TS10 is not really sufficient enough for a reasonably accurate assessment to be made of the signal level expected at your location, however if you cannot receive Dave then its most likely because you are picking up your local relay station of either Guisborough @ 4 miles 187 degrees or Eston Nap @ 4 miles / 209 degrees these "not" transmitting commercial channels by being PSB only relays.
If you have previously received Dave then it must have been from either Bilsdale @ 17 miles / 190 degrees or Pontop Pike @ 33 miles / 302 degrees, and so without knowledge of where your aerial is facing nor at what angle its mounted at (horizontal or vertical) you should try a "manual tune" scan on first of all Bilsdales COM5 / ArqA Ch46 and see what comes up, if nothing then try Pontop Pikes COM5's / ArqA Ch59, these being the only two alternatives to your local relay, and which you may or may not be able to pick up dependant of aerial direction / mounting angle.
