The BBC and Digital UK report there are no faults or engineering work on the Wrexham Rhos (Wrexham, Wales) transmitter.UK Free TV shows the coverage area for a radio transmitter as a coloured overlay (orange for FM, other colours for DAB) on the grey map. We have computed the coverage by combining the terrain with the official radiation pattern. I have not been able to receive a radio signal in my car or at home since I tried at about 10pm on the 10th Sept. It is still off air. I live in Wrexham.

HAVE LOST THE BBC RADIO WALES DIGITAL SIGNAL SINCE SATURDAY 30/5/2015.HAVE TRIED RE-SCANNING BUT IT AUTOMATICALLY SCANS TO "ABSOLUTE RADIO".THE INFO ON THE RADIO SAYS "SIGNAL NOT AVAILABLE".IT HAS BEEN OK SINCE THE ORIGINAL TRANSMISSION( A COUPLE OF YEARS AGO).IT IS NOT THE RADIO AS I HAVE TWO SEPARATE DIGITAL RADIOS IN DIFFERENT PARTS OF THE HOUSE AND BOTH ARE THE SAME.
I LIVE IN CHIRK(LL14 5PE).DATE NOW IS 5/6/2015.

My Wife is welsh and listens constantly to BBC Radio Cymru on DAB ON 3 Receivers in our house in Wrexham.10D
All three now are not receiving any signal.
My Car DAB also searching-not found.
All 4 worked perfect until this warm spell started 2 weeks ago.
Is the Transmitter down or on reduced power?

The reception for D A B radio in Ruabon is very poor, at certain times of the day any station that I choose is always stop start and breaks up.

The transmitters that you get signals from at any time will depend upon the position of your radio (and its aerial) in your house, position of windows and thickness of walls etc. as well as you locale (full postcode) within Ruabon.
The following transmitters and multiplexes are possibilities -
Wrexham Rhos transmitter to the North of you
Good reception of multiplexes Block 12B: 225.648 MHz - BBC National mux, and Block 10D: 215.072 MHz carrying BBC Radio Wales, BBC Radio Cymru, BBC Radio Cymru 2 and some commercial stations.
The "Llangollen Vhf" transmitter to the WSW of you, good reception of 12B
The Pennant Farm transmitter to the SW of you, good reception of 12B
The Rhosfach Farm transmitter to the SSW of you, good reception of 12B and Block 11B: 218.640 MHz carrying BBC Radio Shropshire, BBC WM (West Midlands) and some commercial stations
Maybe the Long Mountain transmitter to the S of you, good reception of 12B
or The Wrekin transmitter to the SE of you, good reception of 12B , 11B, Block 11D: 222.064MHz - D1 National mux, Block 11A: 216.928 MHz - SDL National mux, (the latter two being many commercial stations).
