Are there any planned engineering works or unexpected transmitter faults on the Farthinghoe (Northamptonshire, England) mast?
No problems on any service. 
UK Free TV shows the coverage area for a radio transmitter as a coloured overlay (orange for FM, other colours for DAB) on the grey map. We have computed the coverage by combining the terrain with the official radiation pattern. A single click will select the transmitter to view the coverage for a single site, and a double click goes to a page showing full details. Click on the buttons in the right-hand corner of the map to choose from different frequencies (or multiplexes for DAB).

Hi there I was receiving DAB stations in my car absolutely perfectly until January. Since January the signal for Absolute radio, Planet Rock and more local stations such as Jack FM have become very broken up or cannot be received at all. I have checked my car aerial and it seems fine.
I live near Brackley on the Northants / Oxfordshire border my closest transmitter is Farthinghoe which wasn't working in early January.

I can't track any reports for earlier in January, but the BBC multiplex 12B and the commercial one on 10B carrying BBC radio Oxford do not currently have any reported faults.
As with most main commercial multiplexes, trying find any fault reports or lists of engineering work is like getting blood out of a stone BUT the main commercial multiplexes are not transmitted from Farthinghoe. The signals will be coming from Daventry, Oxford, Bletchley (Bow Brick Hill), Lark Stoke (to the west) or possibly the relay at Aylesbury. Farthinghoe is about in the middle of all those and is predicted to get good reception, but which you get will depend on where you are at the time.
Your best bet would probably be to phone up one of the stations you are having a problem with and have the postcode of the location and ask them to ask their technical team to contact the transmitter people (usually Arqiva) about the reception problem.

Just to add to the above, if you were towards the Oxford area when you experienced a problem today, the BBC have reported -
Oxford: DAB: Off the air due to essential engineering from 18 Jan 11:01 until 18 Jan 12:01.
There is a very good chance that because they say it was Off-air, that the Commercial multiplexes were also off-air.
