Below are all of Jack McKnight's postings, with the most recent are at the bottom of the page.Peter Henderson. Thanks very much for taking the time and trouble to answer my questions on Freeview acquisition for my sister who lives on the Carnmoney Road Near to the library. I could only spot one Digital aerial locally and this appears to point at Divis/Cave Hill direction and is horizontally polarised.Currently my sister has an older aerial pointing to(I think-Carnmoney). Analogue reception on this aerial is very good, so maybe it'll be better to point a wideband one in this direction?? Would this be vertical or horizontal polarity please? Thanks again for all your help- I really appreciate it.P.S. I trust that Mike Dimmock's reference to "SPAM" is not directed at me.

I am experiencing cross modulation on my upstairs TVs.The Freeview channels are fine but, any of the Sky/other digital channels show "wavy" lines. The feeds come via a downstairs modulator located beside the main TV&other equipment. Any suggestions please. Thank you.

Hi.My sister lives in Glengormley and on my next visit"across the water" I'd like to fix up Freeview for her. Can somebody tell me if this is possible, and,in which direction I should point the Yagga? aerial please. Also, how many Freeview channels would she receive, and will this number increase following full switchover in 2012, Thanks a lot.
