The Freeview channels are constantly changing for no known reason and its very annoying. I have had to retune my Panasonic TV 4 times in the last 24 hours. I have Never had any problems in the past. All of my TV's have been Panasonic, this one has had 3 new motherboard's and it is just 12 months old. I believe that the fault is with the Sandy Heath transmitter, please advise.

There has been a lot of work going on at the Sandy Heath transmitter. This creates constant problems with Freeview channels disappearing, I would mind but the TV does NOT retune itself. It's a complete nightmare for the older people as they may think that their TV has gone wrong. My new Panasonic TV has had 3 new motherboard's, which it didn't need. I am not impressed. I would have thought that the Engineers could broadcast a warning message.

So much work is being carried out on this transmitter it keeps moving my bbc channels. I have spoken to Panasonic and they are going to see about disabling the auto update on the TV as I am having to retune the TV practically every day. Even my cousin is getting the same problem with his Toshiba TV.

I commented on channels moving, All the BBC channels move from 101 etc into the 800's sometimes, other channels disappear. The Panasonic TV I have is 16 months old. I have owned Panasonic TV'S for years and have been fantastic TV'S. You commented on not retuning the TV when you are working on the transmitter, how are we supposed know what you are doing. Panasonic have been unhelpful up until yesterday and they have told me that they are going to try and install an update to stop the Auto update. There is also a Big problem with lip sync, they are working on this also

Chris.SE: Hi Chris, I have read all of your messages but, today the pixilated pictures on BBC HD channels today are making the viewing impossible. I am talking with Panasonic about the tuning problem where the TV is not designed to disable Auto tuning. I have infact been speaking to them for 3 weeks and, will be speaking to them tomorrow. I feel these TV'S are sold under the banner of Not fit for purpose.
Kind regards,
Ian Jackson

Since the removal of the BBC analogue channels have been removed my Panasonic TV has been working correctly. I am still waiting for Panasonic and Curry's to come back to me. They did promise to contact me just before Christmas 2023. Bad customer service. I was made aware by a good resource that Panasonic were aware that these TV'S were not fit for purpose as they had got problems. Very disappointed considering that Panasonic is supposed to be a premium product.
