I have a problem every summer with Freeview. I am told it is because of all the trees in the area. Would I get better reception with FreeSat?

I get interference, picture breaks into blocks and freezes, on my Freeview box when my neighbour is away. I suspect the timer switch they use for their lights is to blame. They deny using a timer but clearly they do. If I got Freesat would the interference disappear?
