MikeP: I just updated my Firefox to 37.0.1and the navigation remains very poor to impossible compared with the original version of this site. Even the box to write comments in is not correctly displayed, with the lefthand edge of the box being ommited.

Is the site still maintained? or is it just on automatic? I ask the question as yesterdays channel changes are not reflected in the data presented, and as far as my Transmitter is concerned (Oxford) changes that occurred last year have still to be updated.

I note that BT Showcase following yesterdays changes has moved to 59 but remains on com 7 does that mean there is space on com 6 or have other channels been able to adjust their on air times? There is currently a missmatch between the EPG for Showcase and the channel caption, the later says programmes return at 3am where as the EPG just says "This is BT Showcase" with no programme information.

The EPG shows Viva as still available having moved to 74 though only from 9 am to 11 am there being a matching off air period for Spike, I thought the publicity said that Viva was leaving Freeview altogether.

Are there any issues with Oxford today. Last night all muxs from 4 to 8 disappeared. 4 to 6 returned this morning. Currently LOX - C29; Com7 - C31; and Com8 - C37 are all missing on my TVs. As these are all low frequency transmissions this would mean it is not a 4G issue.

Richard Cooper: Thanks for the suggestion. I am sure somewhere in the past someone (possibly BBC Engineering) said that one of the virtues of Digital TV was that atmospherics would be a thing of the past!

Pikpilot: LOX as far as I am aware actually launched on CH29 it was never on CH51, there are currently five TV services and two data streams/links on this multiplex. Not shown on the detailed multiplex listing listing. The launch date also seems to be unneccessary any more.
I had hoped that a number of errors might have been corrected when the listing was updated with the recent channel shuffle, for example ITV Meridian is no longer part of the Central Licence area hasn't been part since the last Licence Review over a year ago. All versions of ITV should therefore refer to Meridian with the correct sub region. ITV1 being Thames Valley, ITV+1 when I last checked was East, not checked HD.

Stephen: There was supposed to be shuffle to the 5G clearance arrangement even trailed on the late BBC one news and on pop ups on PSB1.

So presumably got it all to happen again sometime this year, particularly as the comms that have moved do not appear to be at their final positions.

COMM 6 moved to C31 and COMM7 moved to

Some how the last bit of my comment vanished.

COMM6 to C31 and COMM7 to C56

Also have to find out why the system thinks I am in Edingburgh rather than Swindon.

Oxford appears to have been off since 16.40 yesterday Saturday 23rd December.

Chris.SE: I had already done all the checks in so far as I can. Could be a failed masthead amplifier. However an enquiry on the next door app had a number of people confirming no reception. The Web site istheservicedown.co.uk has been red flagged Oxford most of the Christmas weekend, indicating a fault on the transmitter.

That website relies on people logging a fault, and when there are enough complaints it seems to automatically represents that as a fault.

Arqiva don't appear to have a status page. There switchboard does not have a clue and put me through to the office that arranges access to transmitter sites, so no help there.

Steve Donaldson: Thank you I was aware of Seagry Court etc. We prefer the BBC South news, and Seagry Court does not carry LOX which also carries a couple of channels we occasionally watch. I suspect it is a failed amplifier as the BBC1 signal from Seagry Court received on the side of the aerial, which was in the 800s is also absent.
