David: Most of New Zealand uses "Freeview via satellite" so your "Freeview" set may well not work as you won't necessarily had a "digital switchover".

There is a nice site for the service here - Freeview NZ - Your Favorite TV Programmes in Digital Quality - Freeview .

James : You can watch the channel that the Sky box is showing on the main set, plus any Freeview channel you want (via Freeview), as long as you have a connection to a rooftop aerial.

kareena: If you have a satellite connection, you need a Freesat box. You can get these from as little as £30.

You provided no postcode, so it is impossible to be sure about Freeview, but you can't usually get a decent, stable signal with an indoor aerial.

DARIO: There is very little difference in the DVB-T protection values between "mode 3" and "mode 8", so if there is a positive effect on the reception of the Manchester exclusive it will be a very minor one.

Greebo: There's no mention of anything on their website - Movies4Men Discussion Forums - Powered by vBulletin .

I can't see any logic in Sony pulling the channels from the Manchester multiplex...
