J Duke: Yes, you should always fully clear the channel list to reset a Freeview box if you have problems, like My Freeview box has no EPG, is blank on FIVE, ITV3, ITV4, ITV2+1, has no sound or the channel line up is wrong | ukfree.tv - independent free digital TV advice .
The same is true for Media Centre, but you can just do a "clear channels" in the scan menu.

Nicci: From your description it sounds like the "remote sensor" on the box has stopped working.
I would check that nothing is blocking it - if you can spot where it is.
If there is nothing stuck to it, then you will probably need a new Freeview box.

catherine: Do you know the cause of the power cut?
One possible answer is that you have an amplifier or booster that is mains powered and you have not managed to restore power to it.

Peter Henderson: The "Freesat" listings are for Freesat in Freesat mode. BBC (Radio) London is on the general Freesat EPG listing.

Scott: You can use Rosneath VP and Black Hill today and Glasgow West Central - plus Darvel from next year.
You would probably get the best from your system if you split the signal from the rooftop aerial, you are in a strong reception are from Black Hill.
