Stewart Crowe: It is simply not possible to employ people to manually watch all the channels from all the transmitters, and much less efficient.

The monitoring equipment in use at the moment can detect and correct problems within milliseconds. You often won't even notice that the fault has occurred, been detected and a backup instigated.

James: Freesat can be used in Denmark, it is within the satellite footprint. All you need is a Freesat box and a dish pointing at the correct satellite cluster.

Ash: No one is "depriving people of channels", it is most likely that you have some RF conflict that you didn't have before, as listed at the top of the page.

Your Multiplex 2 reception was and still is "marginal" until switchover anyway.

You can either find you local problem, or just wait until 31st August 2011.
