Ash: Only Freeview HD (DVB-T2) receivers can see the HD channels, they are totally invisible to standard Freeview equipment.

Martin Hudson: Your set is probably on the "don't work" list - TVs and boxes that do not support the 8k-mode | ukfree.tv - independent free digital TV advice .

You will need to use a Freeview box.

Michael: Freesat and Sky use the same satellites, you can just buy a Freesat box from a store and plug it in. You can get a basic Freesat box from Argos, for example, for £30.

This is probably the best way to test the connection.

John: You will also require a wideband aerial to receive these multiplexes, you will never receive them with a group A aerial, which you may have.
