Richard: You might need to have your aerial checked, but I would wait until Wednesday just to see if the "final switchover" configuration at Nottingham fixes the problem.

Les Nicol: Thanks. This has certainly been on the cards for quite a while.
The use of the EU TV without Frontiers directive by the German PSBs is what I pointed out the the BBC when they were using Sky encryption and they then switched to FTA.

Don: The satellite signals are shared by tens of millions of other viewers - it is impossible for them to be "controlled".
It is much more likely to be a system fault of some kind.

Carol Davis: There is probably a fault with the set. Try a Freeview box on your aerial and see if it does the same thing. If it doesn't then you probably will need the store to replace your TV.
