Chris.SE: I will look into that. I suspect what when I wrote the auto-link thing I didn't consider that mast would be use for both radio and TV as this is a new thing! AM radio didn't need line of sight whereas higher frequency DAB does.

Chris.SE: Thanks. They've had a Freeview HD TV in the hospital, so perhaps I can check out the allocations whilst I'm waiting!

I recall Lord Grade taking about "capture" once at a public meeting. It was basically away of saying "you can ignore what you want to" as it was so simple for people to enter into letter writing or emailing campaigns without being reflective of the public at a whole.

The server is having massive issues because it being hammered by a very unsuccessful spam system. I have made a few changes to try and deal with it but I'm remake the server but I might have to disable sign-up emails.
