Apologies if anyone saw a preview of the "allChannelsForPrediction" system that I'm working on; it's nowhere near ready and shouldn't have been copied from staging.B

Richard H: I think FIlm4 HD is exclusive to Virgin Media. I don't know how long that's going to be for.

Lawrence Taaffe: I would think that it is mostly Billinge Hill, but with DAB you are often getting the same signal from multiple transmitters.

Dave Eagles: Most DAB radios have a station list that is in alphabetically order. You will find it called "Radio 5 Extra" right next to "Radio 5 Live". The missing "BBC" prefix will seperate these two stations from the other BBC ones.

Brett l'Anson: Looking at
Danielle Steel's Message from Nam 01 September 2015 True Entertainment| Series 1 - Episode 1 | Radio Times
it seems that Part 1 will be shown on Tue 1 Sep, 1pm so you might expect part 2 to follow on the 8th?

Ian: Given the location you supplied, if you look at the radio coverage maps Belmont (Lincolnshire, England) DAB transmitter and Belmont (Lincolnshire, England) analogue radio transmitter you can see the location is in the shadow. For FM and DAB the system is using a line-of-sight calculation.

John Hunter: Thanks. The amount of information about alternative transmitters for AM and FM has been reduced to keep it strightforward. I'm not really sure you are being very clear by saying " I got from my crystal set in the 1950's" about DAB as the digital signal encoding can't provide such results. DAB reception is a much simpler matter "in the countryside" as there are no buildings to block signals!

No: Because I was advised that a pop up (rather than just the notice here Privacy policy ) wasn't required because the site carries no qualifying usage (no personal information such as addresses, phone numbers or real names). I have changed it because the T&C of Gooogle Adsense have changed to require a popup.
Once you click agreement the site will no longer send you the code for the popup.
You can see the setting for it by clicking the "settings" cog symbol at the top right.
