Lynn: Generally speaking, not all Freeview receivers are the same, and you get a wide variation in the sensitivity of the boxes to signals.
Sometimes very cheap boxes work better than top-of-the-range ones.

Tom Allen: No problem. As it's a decoder issue, the actual aerial won't effect this issue.
