Richard: You are not officially in a coverage area.
I would have thought the best thing you can do to improve things is to raise your aerial up higher, as high as you possibly can.

Ronald: The pictures on satellite and Freeview are technically identical.
You don't get "'pixellation' / 'freezing'" on Freeview if you install it correctly (use a rooftop aerial) and are in a serviced area. This is hard to say for you as you have not provided a full postcode.

June: There's not much you can do really, as you correctly had a long pole to deal with the trees. The ITV channels are on Freesat, so you could always add that to your system, but that won't get you Yesterday.

Jacktar: Yes, I suspect you are going to have to wait until September, but as I said above, you can watch the channels online using the links in the right hand column.
