Les Nicol: I would expect that the "generic" nature of the boxes probably means they are all badged and boxed versions of the same basic equipment.
The "Freesat" front end is just a few UK-specific menus on the front of a generic receiver.
That's where YouView have been going wrong, trying too hard with the specifications...

Peter: Yes, it is probably the " Arqiva B will temporarily move to channel 67 (at 20kW ERP) at switchover and then it will adopt its final allocation of channel 48 on 14 Sept 2011."
The multiplex changed modes at switchover to provide Sky Sports 1 and 2 for BT Vision customers, but this has caused some people to be unable to receive the multiplex until 14 Sept 2011.

Andrew Benham: That's what "swaps" means. The allocations of C33 and C23 are switched over, then BBC TWO closes on analogue.

Ian: Mount Eagle is a radio transmitter, not a TV transmitter.
You should have excellent service from Rosemarkie - perhaps you need to mount the aerial up higher to ensure you are 100% avoiding the trees.

John Carson: I'm not clear what you mean by "it still stayed on C67 no change".
Did you totally erase the channel list before you first scanned?

John Carson: Yes, this is problem with this particular model. If you could do a "manual scan" of C61, this should fix the problem until the switchover is complete in two weeks.
