Having been waiting for it for ages I believe Epping Green DAB eventually went live, but serves one housing estate so doesn't even reach the A1(M)! None of the local retailers are aware of it.
I confirmed that my radio really does work by taking it to the south coast.
Now no chance of DAB in large part of Hertfordshire.
I'm now loking to buy an Internet radio instead as the prices are finally coming down.

According to the maps we are in the Sandy Heath area however, as with two-thirds of our street, the roof aerial is aimed at Crystal Place with rear pointing at Sandy Heath.
Until now Freeview always had Sandy Heath placed in the 800 series being secondary to Crystal Palace. However now it places BBC 1 & 2 Sandy Heath first and BBC 1& 2 in the 800's. I thought this was due to the TV tuning up through the channels but Crystal uses Ch25 and Sandy Ch27. I've tried retuning several times.
I note that a number of others seem to be having problems with Crystal. I'm guessing that Sandy is now on full power whereas Crystal won't be until next year and that this is the cause. Probably the situation could well revert back to where was it was when Crystal goes full power?
Thanks in advance for your assistance.

I had expected Freeview reception to improve when the 'Switchover' was completed whereas it's disappeared on my recorder. I was expecting they would be on higher power now.
I've been able to recieve Freeview Sandy Heath signals without problem previously on both TV and digital recorder however now the TV signal breaks up and the digital recorder merely gives the channel details without picture.
Given this aerials alighnment the Sandy Heath transmitter has a lower power than the London region transmitter it's aligned to and hence channels are listed from 800 onward.
I've retuned twice since Switchover part two without sucess :-(
Any thoughts appreciated.
