Have read recently on a516digital that there are some issues with Freeview on certain set top boxes. I have recently noticed that on my Panasonic freeview recorder DMR-BW780 that recordings go blank for a few seconds during playback. I have only manage to test this on bbc1 HD and bbc2 HD channels. I was wondering if anybody else was having similar problems. I will try and call freeview tomorrow to get some more info.

We watch most stuff recorded, except for Corrie usually and footy when I get the chance. As for the adverts, I usually skip through them either 30x on Sky+ or 4 presses on the 60 skip when watching on the freeview recorder usually does the trick.

Robert Dallenger: Good News on my sysytem. All now appears to be working ok. I have recently decorated in the room I was having problems with and must have disturbed the connection at the splitter. I have remade all connections and ALL Channels appear to be coming through OK again. Will have to keep an eye on it though.
