My post code WS11 0DU I have checked all cables when scanning for channels the box cant find any frequencies plus i looked on the in built help menu and where it says smartcard number its blank and transmitter is blank i do not sub scribed to tutv but it has been working find for past 7 years

I have been thinking could the top up tv card have expired if so how do i get a new one as i originally brought the thompson box from a friend and they said the card couldnt be transfered over and couldnt get a new card as the card stays with the machine can anyone help please

Can anybody help i have a tomson top up recorder box no channels at all everything i have recorded plays look on the internal help menu its blank on the transmitter but the freeview tv works with the areil is my box broke
