Hi. I have recently put a new aerial system in my loft and renewed all the wires. I have a brand new high gaindigital aerial and double shielded satellitecable. My aerial goes to a masthead booster where the signal goes to 3 TVs around the house. We have 2 BT Youview Humax boxes and one of the smaller new BT you view box. When installing the cables, I was careful to make sure that the aerial cables were not running in line with any power cables although they do cross in 2 places.
My problem is that when I switched the system on, all channels worked on all three boxes. Then, on the two upstairs TVs, I lost several channels, namely the channels which are associated with ITV and Channel 4. I re-tuned, and lost more and more channels. I have one portable aerial and have plugged it into one of the boxes and have managed to get all the channels back on that tv, but in our back room, where i can get no signal from a portable aerial, we have gone from 64 free view channels to 24. All internet channels supplied by BT work fine on all TVs. I can't understand why I should constantly be losing channels when I know that several days ago it was all working fine. Do you have any suggestions as to what I can try to help things improve.
