I need some info please. I have a satellite dish with Metronic box (not hd) from France when I lived there. Now have a new hdtv and would like to pick up hd channels. Metronic say I need to go to france to buy the upgraded box. Question: is it possible for me to buy another type of box here that will work with my satellite dish and t.v. All help appreciated. Thanks

Hi JB38. Thank you for your reply. The tv is full hd 1080p which I believe means it has a second tuner? Does that help?

I would like to not have to go to extra expense if possible, especially after my old set died suddenly and I had to buy a new one. My jaw is still on the floor at the price! Anyway, your help is appreciated jb38, thank you.

I have a french box and dish and recieve tv that way. All well until last weekend / beginning of this week. Some change happened (don't exactly know what) but now there is no ITV4, and More4 and +1, E4 and +1 are "scrambled"? Postcode BA8 0RS What's going on?

I have a Metronic dish and set-top box I brought back from France that does not transmit hdtv. I now have an LG "hdtv with freeview" and want to get hd channels. What do I need to change? Can I get hdtv by connecting the dish directly to the tv and not the box? Please help? I currently get the freeview channels plus some others that I would like to keep.
