I can just make out a very snowy channel 5 from this Transmitter its not watchable or anything but I am getting it all the way in Aspull Wigan! it has to be from here all the other masts near by have gone over to digital only.

I can pick this station Up in Hindley In Wigan on 103.3 with a hiss in the background on my partners car stereo. the car has to be still and only in certain parts in Hindley otherwise it gets drowned out by heart on 103.4 In north Wales but outside our mates house it is fine and totally clear apart from the hiss.

they seem to be having regular engineering work since it went over to digital, more then my Local transmitter of Winter Hill. I use emley more and lost signal today for a few seconds just wondered what the work is for now. From Mike in Aspull Wigan WN2 1SZ

positive Briantist and KMj Derby that it is capital FM Yorkshire that was received at the locations I gave, the frequency was 105.1 and the adverts were for Yorkshire.

this afternoon here in Aspull Wigan the signal has gone terrible, especially on the bbc not watchable. Is this due to ongoing transmitter works and why are they doing more work.

Everything back up and fine again now here In Aspull Wigan, just the bbc multiplex signal quality fluctuating as it normally dose in bad weather anyway But back to normal here. Must of been the current engineering works that was the problem. Dose anyone know if c48 multiplex will be going to the same strength as the rest of them now Bilsdale has gone over?

HI has anybody else noticed signal drop out lasting for a few seconds then coming back on again? it has happened a few times in the last few days twice in the last 24 plus hours, on both BBC and ITV multiplex. Postcode WN2 1sz. And I know my local transmitter is winter hill but I use this one. Is it due to the current weather conditions?

I know there is no reports of any engineering works on this transmitter But has anyone else noticed recently, more so at night a big drop in the signal levels? the BBC multiplex signal quality here at one point tonight was none existent. The Itv one has only in the last hour gone back to its normal levels for here in the last hour. Its happened a couple of times this week and was jusy curious to know if anyone else has noticed it? Postcode WN2 1sz. And yes i know my local transmitter is Winter hill.

I wouldn't know jb38 no one else watches it here they all watch Granada it is not my equipment, as I have just bought a new telly with free view built in and it is doing it on that, as it was when I had an old freeview box
